Halloween 2002

This year we had another great turn out with almost 300 kids and over 100 parents coming to our haunt. We would like to thank the 1st Community Policing Scout troop for the funding they provided and we are glad they enjoyed coming over on the 29th for their Halloween party.

Setup

Thanks to Mike for taking the old Scout canoe trailer and turning into our bridge for our tunnel.

We used 10 foot ready-rod and PVC conduit to make our Vortex tunnel

Unfortunantly the PVC was too flexible and jumped the track constantly

We decided to just use the tunnel as-is and placed a fogger inside it with a strobe and the blacklights to disorient the TOT's

our Dot Room was a good scare for many of the kids and the parents as well. Maybe we should call it our "Dot Wall" this year

Spider Room set up

One of the 2 large spiders was on a pnuematic ram and was triggered by an actor that was on the far end of the room.

Our Ressurection grave didn't quite work either as most people walked right by it and didn't notice the sign. We had an actor in the grave under the burlap screen waiting to pop out when people read the spell.

We had a big wind that tore down almost everything we had set up the day before Halloween. Notice the tent that we did not use

Our toxic waste barrels

One of 3 pnuematic props this year
